Casey (who is very secretly in love with Dan) is sleeping with Sally Sasser, the town's ambulance chasing lawyer. When Bobby Bernstein comes to town to recruit Dan for a GM position at SportChek in Halifax, Casey has to confront his feelings for Dan, or lose him to the 'big city'.

Nathan tried not to think too much about what they were doing.

I finally got around to posting in my jay_bean journal-o-RL-and-stuff. Most of it will be unlocked--the stuff that's not about work, anyway--but if people want to friend it for the work bitching too, go to town.

I have air conditioning. My uncle and aunt had a portable unit that they bought, used once, and didn't want. They gave it to us for free, and I'd have paid them for it and kissed them right on the mouth for offering it in the first place. A non-boiling hot apartment in August. Who'd have thought such a thing was possible in this crazy world of ours?

Also, I have committed fic! Well, I co-committed fic, and the jury is still out on if ashinae and I should BE committed for posting it, dirtybadwrong as it is, but if anyone's interested, it's Heroes, it's FPS, it's Nathan/Claire, and it's whorefic.

So, I've mentioned once or twice that Ash and I have been puttering away on a Heroes/Firefly alternate reality 'verse (and when I say puttering, I mean, well... there's a reason why Ash keeps calling us the wordy bitches).
