State of the Jay

linden_jayOmg tired. And it's only 10:30. That's just SAD for me. Do I get the slightest pass when I've been working overtime and through my lunch every damned day for the past... I forget now. Is it so bad to just want to work an ordinary day? Welcome to Jay's summer.
I finally got around to posting in my jay_bean journal-o-RL-and-stuff. Most of it will be unlocked--the stuff that's not about work, anyway--but if people want to friend it for the work bitching too, go to town.
I have air conditioning. My uncle and aunt had a portable unit that they bought, used once, and didn't want. They gave it to us for free, and I'd have paid them for it and kissed them right on the mouth for offering it in the first place. A non-boiling hot apartment in August. Who'd have thought such a thing was possible in this crazy world of ours?
Also, I have committed fic! Well, I co-committed fic, and the jury is still out on if![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ashinae and I should BE committed for posting it, dirtybadwrong as it is, but if anyone's interested, it's Heroes, it's FPS, it's Nathan/Claire, and it's whorefic.
