Movie release dates

linden_jayOkay, was super bored at work last Box Office shift, so I wrote down projected release dates for anything that I was interested in, or ones I thought others would be interested in... these are, 'course, only projected... last time they put one of these out, Elizabethtown was supposed to be a summer release *grumble*
August 5: Dukes of Hazzard (So, so not interested, but it's going to make things really busy for a bit... I was doing a trailer check (watch the trailers every friday to make sure there's nothing wrong with them) when the trailer for it first came out, and one of the boys at work hopped over the side of the chairs Duke-style to sit next to me- scared the absolute PISS outta me!)
August 12: Four Brothers (strangest thing about this one is seeing Garret Hedlund- aka Patroclus, Achilles 'cousin' all spikey headed and tough acting... might be worth a viewing.)
August 19: Valiant, Red Eye (and cue Cillian Murphy back to being an ugly punkin-head... thank goodness! It was creeping me out seeing him so good looking in Batman- shut UP TR!)
August 26: The Brothers Grimm
September 23: Flight Plan, Corpse Bride, Pride and Prejudice (Sean's accent in Flight Plan is just mmm yummy, and I have a feeling I'm going to end up seeing Pride and Prejudice just cos.)
September 30: History of Violence, Serenity (I have a feeling a lot of people are interested in History of Violence and I know I want to see Serenity, just need to find someone with Firefly first- ack! Either way, the trailer looks awesome.)
October 7: Wallace and Gromit
October 14: Elizabethtown (Yeah, if I've got nothing better to do, I might go see this for a laugh, y'know... *snort* Yeah, maybe 17 or 18 times...)
October 21: Doom (Yeah... Karl... Karl and guns... and Karl... yeah. I don't care if it's bad, I'm unapologetically going for the pretty)
October 28: Legend of Zorro
November 4: V for Vendetta (Mmm... Natalie... *drifts off, gives head a shake* Sorry, what?)
November 11: Rent, The New World, Jarhead (Oh god- cannot WAIT for Rent, and A New World... mmm... Christian as baddie is even worth going to a Colin Farrell movie for.)
November 18: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (I must have a new job before this movie comes out. Must, must, must, because OMG do not want to work the release of this movie, it will kill me. Star Wars- Revenge of the Sith was bad, really bad, but Harry Potter release? *whimpers*)
December 9: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Memoirs of a Geisha (I think both of these have the potential to be excellent- Lion looks excellent, and Tilda Swanson looks perfect as the witch.)
December 16: Lucky You, All the Kings Men, King Kong (Okay, Lucky You= Eric Bana. And Poker. And Eric. And scenes of him on a motorbike, from the during the shoot pics. Bring your drool cup, ladies. And King Kong, well, tha's just a given... and the trailer is hella cool... not that I sneak to see it almost everytime it shows... well, it and Elizabethtown... *drifts off*)
December 23: Munich, The Producers (Okay, again, Eric Bana, 'though obviously a much more serious role. I wouldn't be surprised if either it or Lucky You gets moved, just to avoid having two Bana movies released within a week of each other- I mean Keerist- the guy hasn't had a movie released since Troy and they're coming out that close to each other - but still- does look cool. And I heard such good things about The Producers when it was Broderick and Lane doing the show on Broadway, I'll admit, I'm hella curious to see it.)
Anything further than this is just so much guess work, it’s not really worth noting, but there you go- projected movie release dates for the next 4-5 months. See you at the cinema- and for gods sake- don’t stuff kleenex in the cup holders! *goes off muttering*
