The Academic Husband picked the book up for me this morning, and had it in my hot little hands at 8:20am. I finished reading it at 12:30. Not quite my record for reading a HP book all in one go (Half Blood Prince took me 3 hours and forty-five minutes), but I think it was shorter.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been cutting spoilers and reactions for those of us who prefer to stay spoiler free... I managed to go into reading the book this morning not knowing a single thing, which is pretty shiny, considering that the entire book was leaked online a few days ago.
But I'm finished reading, and have turned it over to the Academic Husband, after which I'll get to read it again and really savor it this time, which is usual for me.
Now--since everyone's still hidden in their spoilerproof bunkers and not coming out to entertain me, I'm off to read over the Firefly/Heroes crossover 'verse that I'm writing with
