I was going to do the one about fandoms I have loved, but honestly I don't think I've had enough fandoms I've been seriously involved in to do it properly, although I might try later. So Imma do this one instead.

Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudo-canon. If you follow my RPG's, or have read my fanfic I cowrote with Jess, you can feel free to ask about them too.

Xander Harris:

1) Willow's fluid sexuality scared the crap out of him. Not because of anything to do with her--not at all. Once he got past the initial what the fuck?!?! and stopped being slightly offended that she had clearly gotten over her earlier Xander-crush leanings, anyway. But if Willow could end up gay, when for years she was best described as Xander-sexual... what did that mean about him? Was it possible that HE could be less-than-straight?

This was made worse by the sexually explicit dream he had involving Angel, fuzzy handcuffs, and a half-dozen chocolate pudding cups.

2) To this day, he really regrets that he never got to go on that driving-across-the-USA trip following graduation. He's still got the map he planned the route on.

3) He loved Anya more than he was able to describe, explain, or show to anyone. Including Anya.

Sylar aka Gabriel Gray, aka Gabriel Sylar: (Heroes canon)

1) He really does believe what he told Mohinder--about him being the next evolution of the species--and he feels that he has a perfect right to claim abilities from the undeserving. He's not entirely sure why that's such a problem for so many people.

2) Before his mother died, he'd never killed a 'regular' person when it wasn't necessary. His definition of what constituted 'necessary' is a little bit more flexible than most peoples, but he just didn't see the point.

3) There's a part of Sylar that desperately wants to stop. Not a Niki/Jessica true split personality, but just a core of his inner being that badly, badly doesn't want to be a killer, and wants forgiveness. Badly. And he needs it to be from Mohinder, specifically.

Sylar: AR canon (at least as far as you've read)

1) Sylar wants Peter's abilities so badly he dreams about it sometimes. It's a near irresistible temptation, and more than once, he's wandered past Peter's door late at night, just staring at it before going back to his room.

2) He's been truly, deeply in love once in his life, and it was real. The man he was then, and the man he is now don't even seem like the same person to him... like he's looking at someone else's life.

3) Nathan's the only person he respects, and the only person he fears.
